The JumpStart Challenge is on! The question is: will you accept it?  Will you and your sports club jump in and actively create a better future for South African youth?

Maxed Elite Running Club is first out the starting blocks. They’ve already accepted the JumpStart Challenge – and challenge other clubs to do the same.

“Maxed Elite is challenging all other running clubs to accept the challenge and join us for the JumpStart Challenge. Not only will you be part of an epic event but you will be giving back to the community. This is a challenge that we are 150% behind. Are you in?” asks Maxed Elite Running Club athlete Joanna Maingard.

The JumpStart Challenge can be completed virtually, anywhere in the world, from March 12 to 20. The entry donation is R99pp, to ride, run or walk the Challenge virtually, at any time or location of your choice.

The host venue for physical participants is Holla Trails at Sugar Rush Park in Ballito; where the entry donation is R140 to ride and R120 to run.

All proceeds from the JumpStart Challenge will go directly to our Jump Start skills development programme to empower South Africa’s youth.

Youth unemployment is at a staggering 63% in South Africa. Over 9 million youth are currently not in employment, education or training. Yet this year alone, JumpStart has trained over 5,000 young learners with over 2,000 finding employment.

So what are you waiting for? #JustStart
